The children will provide the program during worship on Sunday, June 11. The Bible School program is "Operation Arctic" and, as always, this will be a great time for everyone!
We can use lots of cookies for the week of Bible School! You can drop them off any morning that week. Please no peanuts or peanut butter.
What is "faith training" you ask? Faith Training is a two-year program for middle school students to explore what it means to have faith in God through Jesus Christ through the confirmation program of Christ Lutheran Church (aka faith training).
During the next year we will meet at the church for class instruction most Wednesday afternoons after school until 5:00 pm. (beginning September 23rd for 8th Grade and September 30th for 7th Grade).
Your to do list before confirmation classes begin:
Children's Church will begin again the week after Rally Day and continue throughout the school year. Children's church is a time for little ones to venture downstairs for an activity so parents and adults can listen to the message. Children go downstairs after the Children's Sermon and can return upstairs after the Sharing of the Peace. We ask for your help with Children's Church by signing up for a few Sundays now through the end of the year. The sign-up sheet is passed around during service with the usher and readers' sheets. Activities during Children's Church could include coloring, craft activities, reading a story, watching a movie, etc. Thank you for your help!
